Call for Papers
The call for paper proposals will open on the 20 January 2023, with deadline the 1 April 2023.
The general purpose of the conference is to bring together researchers and practitioners from the Nordic countries and beyond to debate and rethink contemporary issues in development research and policy.
This year’s conference theme is centred on what may be called Co-creation for a just transition towards a sustainable society.
Despite achievements in global development, authoritarian regimes as well as environmental degradation and inequality are on the rise, and we face continuous, and often interrelated, political, environmental and social challenges. We see the need for new global development approaches and processes. In addition, many of the sustainability and developmental challenges are complex and require co-creation and coordination of different actors and disciplines in order to deepen the understanding of those challenges and the possible actions to counter them.
There are 12 themes for paper proposals. Please read the full description of the themes on the web page Panels before submitting the paper abstract proposal.
