- The reduced fee, SEK 500, applies to participating researchers from OECD DAC’s list of ODA Recipients: Open as pdf in a separate tab/window >>OECD DAC list of ODA receipients (pdf format)
- This offer applies to the first 30 registered participants from low- and middle-income countries. Please note the max limit.
- OBS! In order to use this fee, the payment should also be made from an ODA recipient country.
- If a high income country university/organization pays the fee for a participant from and ODA country, we expect the fee to be the full registration fee, not the reduced fee. Please understand this point from the organizers, and that we have as low as possible registration fee for all delegates.
Swedish participants
Swedish participants can choose to pay either by credit card or by invoice. Invoice to Swedish organizations will be sent as an electronical invoice (e-faktura) if possible.
Participants from outside Sweden
All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish krona). Payment should be made by credit card or by bank transfer (invoice). Invoice will be sent as a pdf attachment by e-mail.
When choosing ‘International bank transfer’ in the registration form, you will receive an invoice including bank transfer information (bank account number, IBAN, etc). The invoice is created manually, and will be sent as a pdf attachment by e-mail, usually a few days after registration. The participant/payee is responsible for any bank charges/fees associated with the payment.
Information about payment with credit card
We accept the following credit cards: VISA and Mastercard. A separate link for credit card payment will be sent to you within one week after registration. (This delay due to a payment platform update). The credit card payment will be administrated by Invajo registration system and Nets Payment Service Provider for secure Internet payment solutions.
For your safety, our payment system is connected to the 3D Secure system for ensuring the security of payments made through the internet. Your card needs to be connected to Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode. Your bank can inform you if your card is connected, and if not already, how it can be connected.
If you receive an error message when paying with your card, please check with your bank to see if they have a block on overseas payments, a block on internet payments, and/or a limit on the amount that can be charged in one day. These are common reasons why a payment initially does not go through.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation of Registration
Cancellations must be made by e-mail to the conference secretariat. Cancellations made by 21 June, 2023 at the latest will be refunded in full except for a cancellation fee of SEK 750. Cancellations made after 21 June will not be refunded. Cancellation of only separate activities or meals is non-refundable.
Change of Name
Should you be unable to attend, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place at no extra cost.
Taxes – VAT 25%
According to Swedish and EU legislation, 25% Swedish VAT will be added to all registration fees for onsite/in-person attendance.
This according to EU legislation and regulation for conferences and events (C-647/17, EU:C:2019:195, of 13 March 2019 and Article 53 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC of 28 November 2016) VAT is paid in the country where services are rendered, e.g. the country in which the conference takes place.
Exception: Swedish participants from governmental public sector organizations (e.g., universities, governmental agencies): No VAT will be added. In this case, you must choose Invoice (Swedish billing address only) as the payment mode and provide the VAT number of your employer.
For credit card payment, VAT is always added no matter of your employee organization.
